Fungal infections are quite common across all age groups. It is not only in men, even women are also having Fungal infection and this incidence has kept on increasing recently. Why is it happening like that? It is mainly because of 2 reasons. It is because of lifestyle and because of fungus, whenever there is a lot of dampness it could be because of physical activity and some sweat too much and some are not able to maintain hygiene well. In these cases he fungus spreads. So commonly the Fungal infection spreads in the dampness for example in the underarms, or in the grains or lower abdomen, rarely it can happen in other areas like the posterior aspects like backs and buttocks or in people who are into driving profession like drivers or those who sit for long hours like software engineers, in them the sweat tends to accumulate on the back of the body and thus cases fungal infection.
